OverviewA technological fantasy thriller, the story of humanity's dystopian political and social evolutioncaused by the underestimation of dangerous empathy and the overestimation of the usefulness of AI in everyday life, starting with the first applications designed and produced by the most important IT groups and companies in the world. This, however, would lead to excessive familiarity with this technology, whose development would then become risky and unstoppable. In the beginning, it wasn't AI that deceived; it was typical of humanity to be seduced by form, ceasing to exercise judgment. Three time levels: humanity's present, grappling with the first technological discoveries in that field, with the first examples of generative AI and applications in every sector; the worrying, yet still stable, environmental condition; A near future partly unfolding, partly probable, with the distancing and rejection of new technologies by many users in an increasingly suffering ecosystem; the distant future of a planet divided between inhabitants of cities regulated by AI and ""soil devouring"", and populations who would prefer to move away, while the environment was so compromised as to cause mutations in flora and fauna; the environment situation would also have brought to the surface, not coincidentally, the remains of a previous technological civilization similar to our and with similar problems. The Genesis account omitted the fact that man, too, would have wanted to create AI in his own image and likeness, as our predecessors implied. The rebellion of the free tribes in their natural environment and their champions against increasingly devious AI, trained by ever more sophisticated models, the ""killer switch"" of our ancestors, and a ""human protocol"" tested to shut down the hostile AI of a global Central Government, desired by the American presidency in its third term, in 2028, whose headquarters were under the ""Arc de Triomphe"" in front of the Lincoln Memorial and accessible from the White House ballroom.
