Author Information

Tania Haque is a Professor of Women and Gender Studies at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She earned her PhD on the topic of unpaid care work by women, exploring one of the most critical yet unresolved social norms that significantly hinder women's progress by limiting their participation in paid economic activities. Dr Haque has made extensive contributions to research and scholarship, having published four books and over twenty articles in both national and international academic journals. Jamila A. Chowdhury is a distinguished Professor of Law at the Department of Law, University of Dhaka, having five books and more than 25 research articles published in renowned peer-reviewed journals. She holds a PhD in Dispute Resolution from the University of Sydney, Australia. Her pioneering research, which resulted in a paradigm-shifting thesis, earned her a place in the prestigious ""Rare and Special Collection"" of the Fisher Library at the University of Sydney. Later, an expanded version of her PhD thesis was published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK.
