A unique feature of Bollywood cinema is its songs, lyrics and music. From Mughal Azam, Pakeezah and Umrao Jaan to 'Dil To Pagal Hai', films have demonstrated the irony of Urdu poetry. Some actors of the twentieth century became popular more through the songs of their films than through their acting. There has also been a great diversity of themes in these film songs.
