Back Stage is an all-access pass to the heady world of fashion and glamour, via the eyes of Gauthier Gallet. For almost ten years, Gallet scanned behind-the-scenes and the front-rows at the ready-to-wear and couture shows in Paris, Milan, New York and Tokyo, as well as some of the most star-laden parties of the past decade. Uncontrived, personal images, his photos render the untouchably fabulous surprisingly human. They are documents of our times, a compilation of encounters, a continuous expression of his great talent. Author Information

Gauthier Gallet was born in Paris on September 19, 1971. After studies in marketing, he launched himself into the world of imagery, working as an assistant at Imapress for two years. In 1993 he published his first photos in Sportswear International. Since then, his images have been published in magazines as varied as Dutch, Numero, Self Service, i-D, WWD, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue UK, Surface, Vogue Japon, Mixt(e), and Elle. Gauthier Gallet died in a motorbike accident on 14 March, 2003.
