He qualified in medicine in Aberdeen and received his surgical and academic training in Glasgow, Scotland. MARTIN S. KARPEH is Director of the Stony Brook University, as well as Chief of Surgical Oncology, Stony Brook University Medical Center, New York. He received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University, Philadelphia. DAVID J. KERR is Rhodes Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Cancer Therapeutics, University of Oxford, UK. JAFFER AJANI is Professor of Medicine, Division of Cancer Medicine, University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston.
