Author Information

J.J. Misiewicz, is a Consultant Physician and Honorary Joint Director of the Department of Gastroenterology and Nutrition, Central Middlesex Hospital, London. He has been the Secretary and President of Royal College of Gastroenterology, besides being a member of the Governing Body of the European Association for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. His research interests are in the field of inflammatory bowel disease, with research activities centered on acid/pepsin diseases, drugs inhibiting acid secretion, Helicobacter pylori among others. Misiewicz has a number of textbooks including the Atlas of Clinical Gastroenterology and articles to his credit. He edited Gut for seven years, and now edits the European Journal of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
