OverviewBook ten of the Sean Murphy series starts with Sean being contacted by Samuel, an old friend and a former Mossad agent. A rogue Russian agent sponsored by the recently escaped jihadist, al-Ghazzawi, has developed a new weapon to be used against the Americans. That weapon, a deadly nerve agent, is transported to Germany and eventually smuggled into the port of Baltimore, where part of the shipment is stolen, inadvertently released, and kills numerous residents in Baltimore's Dundalk area. The remaining shipment is used to target Washington, DC's Metro and New York's subway systems. The terrorists conducting these attacks are from an old, overlooked cell established by al-Ghazzawi years earlier. The FBI's task force eventually closes this cell down, neutralizing all players and stripping it of its assets. In Europe, the manhunt for the culprits eventually brings in the Greek Intelligence Service, specifically George Basdakis and his uncle Alexander. With their help, the rogue Russian agent is tracked to a weapons dealer in Beirut.
