Known for his creative but practical approach to gardening, he is a hands-on gardener with a passion for fruit and vegetable growing. He has a reputation for building artistic garden features made from plants and recycled materials. Toby trained and worked as a rose and pinks nurseryman and gardener before studying at Hadlow College, Kent and later worked at The University of Cambridge Botanic Garden.
