Author Information

Born in 1945, Andrew Lawson's career in photography has been heavily influenced by his lifelong interest in natural history and painting. A keen gardener himself, he brings a specialist eye to the photography of plants and garden. He is sought after as a photographer by the leading gardeners and garden owners in Britain. His work frequently appears in magazines all over the world; however, Andrew's main body of work is in books. The Lawson family lives in Oxfordshire, England. Andrew's wife, Briony, is a sculptress and her carvings in stone and wood are placed outside in their garden, which acts as an open-air art gallery.
