Gamification Practices for Service Ecosystem Experiences

Overview

Gamification has emerged as a powerful strategy for enhancing engagement and motivation within service ecosystems. By using game design elements such as rewards and narratives into service interactions, companies can transform routine experiences into dynamic journeys. Where multiple stakeholders co-create value through interconnected networks, gamification practices offer new ways to align interests and enrich user experiences across digital and physical touchpoints. Using gamification in shaping service ecosystem experiences can also strengthen stakeholder relationships and generate meaningful engagement at scale. Gamification Practices for Service Ecosystem Experiences explores how gamified systems enhance customer experience, empower employees, and drive value co-creation. This book highlights the ethical and societal implications of gamification, fostering responsible research and practice in the field. Covering topics such as customer service, customer experience, and gamification, this book is an excellent resource for academics, educators, industry professionals, policy makers, and graduate students.
