This textbook provides an overview of the fundamentals of game theory and its applications in various fields. It introduces game theory as an established toolkit for the mathematical analysis and evaluation of strategic decisions. Bartholomae is Professor of Economics at Munich Business School (Germany), Associate Professor at the Bundeswehr University Munich (Germany), and Lecturer at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems (Austria). Marcus Wiens holds the Chair for Business Economics (i.e., Innovation and Risk Management) at the Technical University Freiberg, Germany. He is Principal Investigator at the Institute for Information Security and Reliability (KASTEL) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Research Fellow at Virginia Tech (USA).
