Ivanka Palmer is a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist having majored in grief and loss with a Diploma in Professional Counselling, Psychotherapy & Development Psychology. She has worked as a telephone counsellor at Hopeline for people with life-threatening illnesses, at the Mental Illness Fellowship as a home visitor, on Helpline and as a Family Educator. She also has over twenty years of personal experience of mental illness having been married to a person suffering from Bipolar Disorder.
