Author Information

Gail Parlet was raised in the country surrounded by her grandparents. Both of her grandmothers, Anna Edrington and Velma Parlet, were very good cooks. Every year, during the holidays, both grandmothers would be in the kitchen cooking holiday treats, such as candies and fudge. Gail would watch them cook throughout those years, and helped as she grew older. Unknowingly, Gail was also learning their special cooking techniques and skills. Now a grandmother herself, she also makes holiday candies and fudge with her own grandchildren each year. Gail hopes her grandchildren have unknowingly learned a special lesson on how to cook while spending time with her.
