Gail Parlet was raised in the country surrounded by her grandparents. Both of her grandmothers, Anna Edrington and Velma Parlet, were very good cooks. Every year, during the holidays, both grandmothers would be in the kitchen cooking holiday treats, such as candies and fudge.
