Malcolm V. Lowe is a professional writer and historian who has written more than 20 books, including in-depth development profiles and operational histories of the Fw 190, Bf 109, P-51 Mustang, Ta 152, and Me 262. He has written two previous books for Osprey, with COM 149 – Bf 109 Jabo in the West being a sister volume to this book. Gareth Hector produced the cover art for this volume.
