Author Information

Phoenix Bright believes in inspirational and aspirational children's books. Bright has researched countless future careers and has enjoyed writing about them all in the Future Me series. Phoenix Bright is based in London. Anna Simeone is a freelance children’s illustrator based in Sopot, Poland. She graduated with a degree in literature in Gdansk, then spent 10 years in Italy before moving back to her hometown with her husband, daughter, and their dog. Anna has illustrated children’s books for publishing companies around the world, including in Poland, Italy, France, and the UK. In her work, she tries to capture the joyful and heartfelt moments of everyday life. The vibrant colour palettes she curates for her work are inspired by the world around her, seasonal vegetables and flowers, secondhand porcelain, her dog’s fur, and more. Anna loves working with both traditional techniques, coloured pencils and watercolours, and digital mediums.
