Overview

A gaggle of guinea pigs discover their silly new wigs have transformed them into the newest superheroes on the block ... and now it is the Guinea Wigs to the rescue! What happens when five guinea pigs find a box of weird wigs? Best friends Jet, Minnie, Meatball, Bud and Tofu become the GUINEA WIGS - guinea pigs but with SUPERPOWERS! And it's just in time, too, because somebody in town is kidnapping all the chickens. Can the GUINEA WIGS work out how to use their new powers AND find the chickens before it's too late? Author Information

Rebecca McRitchie would love to tell you that she was raised by wolves in the depths of a snow-laden forest until she stumbled upon and saved a village from the fiery peril of a disgruntled dragon. But, truthfully, she works as a children's editor and lives in Sydney. Whimsy and Woe and the sequel, Whimsy and Woe: The Final Act, are her first fiction titles.  Shiloh Gordon is the illustrator of the popular junior-fiction series The Underdogs and Ratbags. He has a passion for creating lively, engaging illustrations that are full of character, story and fun. Shiloh graduated with a BA in animation from the Queensland College of Art and has worked as a professional illustrator for over 20 years. He lives in Brisbane with his wife and three kids, who are an endless source of fun and inspiration.
