OverviewThis book describes the fundamentals of geomechanical and geotechnical finite element modeling using Abaqus and Python. Of particular importance is the probing of nonlinear material response of standard soil and rock material models, namely, the Drucker-Prager, Mohr-Coulomb and Cam-Clay models, under triaxial loading.
