In easy-to-read language understandable to the non-physicists or non-microscopists but in a complete way, it gives an overview of the most used fluorescence microscopy techniques. What is great about this book is also that it combines the technological part with very practical topics: sample preparation (chapter 5) and labeling of specific organelles (chapter 6-8).
