Fundamentals of Environmental Biology has been conceived to bring different aspects of environmental biology under one head. The purpose of this book is to fill the gap between basic books of ecology or environmental science and advanced environmental biotechnology in an appropriate manner. Divided in two parts, the book contains fourteen chapters. Author Information

Meetu Gupta Assistant Professor, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, obtained her PhD from National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow in 1996. Dr. Gupta has more than 20 years of research experience in the area of ecotoxicology/ ecotoxicogenomics. Since last 10 years she has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Department of Biotechnology, JMI. She has been awarded guest research fellowship at University of Wuerzburg, Germany. She also has been a recipient of DST-fast track Young Scientist, CSIR -Pool Officer and has published various research papers in international journals.
