The author is a neonatologist with over 40 years of academic and private practice experience in newborn nurseries and neonatal intensive care units. His previous publications include numerous scientific papers and a textbook entitled Primary Care of the Newborn, which he co-authored in 1987. This is an updated medical textbook on the clinical care of term and late preterm newborns.
