Fundale: A Happy Place

Overview

Luther lived in an apartment complex on the North Side of Chicago with his parents, Traore and Tigris, and his younger sister, Leanette, until his father Traore landed his dream job in an upscale neighborhood of Fundale, a western suburb of Chicago. So, one weekend, Traore and Tigris went on a house hunt to find a suitable home for the entire family. It was not long before they spotted a house they liked. The house was a single-family home with five spacious bedrooms and a big backyard. It was all that they had wished for and more. And so it happened that the following weekend, Traore, Tigris, Luther, and Leanette waved their north-side apartment goodbye and set off to their new home; it was a must-see. They were filled with mixed emotions, as with any goodbye.
