Overview

The NexReader Series 1, the Fun Phonix Collection is made up of three books, Book One, Book Two and Book Three. This is a marvelous, tried and true method to help your little ones to learn how to read, and to enjoy it at that! The phonix method is quite easy to follow, as the User Guide at the beginning of each book, informs you of all you will need to know before you get started. The books use a very simple font, making the letters of the alphabet easy to read. Starting from Book One, you will find that the letters of the alphabet are quite large, whereas, in Books Two and Three, they have decreased in size. This will greatly help to slowly transition your little ones to read chapter books in the future. Book One focuses on the letters of the alphabet, with even the sounding of the letters spelled out. This is to help with correct pronunciation. Book One ends with the world-famous Alphabet Song! Book Two focuses on vowel sounds, which is a vowel letter and the letter ""t"" added together. These are easy vowel sounds to learn and to memorize. The next step will be to add another letter from the Alphabet to form a word made up of three letters. Book Three focuses on using the words found in Book Two, to make simple sentences. The sentences are short, and common words like 'the, on, in, ' and other words such as these, are introduced. Book Three ends with a Certificate of Excellence! The wonderful thing about this collection of Fun Phonix books is the choice of either owning the entire three books in the collection, or to purchase these books individually. This will be an option for children who are already familiar with the alphabet, therefore no need for Book One. Or, if our child is ready to read simple sentences, then Book Three will be the most ideal book to have. Either way, this lovely collection of books can help new beginner readers and not so new readers be successful in their pursuit of learning how to read the English language.
