"Tara Wilson Evans, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, moved to Bellevue, Nebraska, in the late 1990s. Evans is a master quilter and teaches quilting arts. She is also a published author since 2014. ""Fun on the Farm with Dodi and Dee"" is her first children's book. Maxine Davis of Meridian, Mississippi, has created art all her life. She says, ""As long as I can remember, art has always been a part of me. It's in my blood. Starting out as a youngster, I drew and painted everywhere-even painting on the walls at home. Today, every piece of art has meaning to me."" Fun on the Farm with Dodi and Dee is the sixth book she has illustrated.
