Husband-and-wife team Tori and Matthew Butler-Hart started their film production company, Fizz and Ginger Films, in 2009, born from a desire to have more control over their own careers—Matthew wanting to move into writing and directing and Tori keen to create the type of roles she wanted to play. Having both trained as actors in London at top drama schools, they met while performing in a play and over the past decade have forged careers as actors, directors, screen writers, and producers. They have successfully released three of their own multi-award-winning feature films, as well as co-producing and assisting on many others.
