Roger Lotring conducted his first interview in 1990 and never looked back. That conversation with Gene Simmons in part prompted his becoming the co-publisher and editor-in-chief of Prime Choice, a regional hard rock newspaper based in Connecticut. In 1999 he was approached by the Starlog Group to contribute to The Official Kiss Magazine #2, and later their in-house heavy metal periodical, ShockWave. Roger was a contributing writer to Metal-Is.com, a subsidiary of the Sanctuary Group. His work has also been published in international magazines such as Metal Hammer, Zero and Burn. He was a contributor and staff writer for Metal Edge from 2001 to 2009, writing cover stories and features about artists such as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, and numerous others.
