Overview

I'm Holly Parker, and I'm tackling my bucket list, one state at a time. I want to visit all fifty over the next ten years or so, but so far, I've had the bad luck to find myself caught up in murder investigations everywhere I've gone. This trip was going to be different, though. Besides getting to see the sights in Boston, Massachusetts, I was going to get to spend some time with two of my closest friends from college while I was there. Ryan and Lisa had started dating as freshmen and now, something like thirty years later, they were still together. We'd been incredibly close in college, but then our lives had gone in different directions, and I hadn't seen them since graduation. We had a nice dinner together, catching up on each other's lives. I was concerned when Ryan told me the next morning that Lisa was missing. Things got much worse when her body was found. For some reason, the police seemed to think that I had a motive for Lisa's murder. Ryan seemed to be their second favorite suspect. And once again I found myself caught up in a murder investigation when all I'd wanted was a vacation.
