Overview

This story is about a real-life Orca, traveling yearly in our southern California ocean. Orcas are the largest members of the dolphin family and are known as ""Killer Whales"". The whale's name is ""Frosty"", according to numerous whale watchers and surfers. When I first heard about Frosty, I could not stop thinking about this rare white orca and I realized that children should know more about this famous orca. After a year of thinking about Frosty, I decided to sit down and share this story with everyone.

The author, a human resource director living by the beach in California, listens to Frosties stories daily. She believes everyone should learn more about Frosty, and what better way than to describe some of the adventures of this dolphin. The story is also about people who visit our nearby beaches and leave their trash when they leave. The author hopes the children will teach us to clean up after ourselves at the beach to help our friends in the ocean.
