What is theology, and how can it still speak with meaning today? Here theology is not reserved for specialists but opens into conversation with everyday life, culture, and future generations. Challenging the boundaries between theory and practice, this book calls for a theology that is understandable, existentially relevant, and rooted in stories of faith, hope, and love. At once deeply autobiographical and widely dialogical, it shows how fundamental theology can meet youth ministry and youth theology to inspire renewal, mutual learning, and a rediscovery of God in surprising places.

Author Information

Frantisek Stěch currently works as Coordinator of the Theology & Contemporary Culture research group and Lecturer of Hermeneutics at the Charles University, Protestant Theological Faculty (Prague, CZ). His research is generally focused on topics related to fundamental and systematic theology, but he is also engaged in youth ministry research. He is the author of several academic publications as well as a number of popular articles and poetry.
