George's show business background gives him a commanding stage presence. His parents were regarded as one of the funniest comedy/variety acts of their time. George started out by performing stand-up comedy at the age of twelve at the Disneyland Hotel. He then went on to entertain at comedy clubs, conventions, and for various business organizations. After graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, George segued his comedy into public speaking. Recently George published the Take Two Laughs and Call Me in the Morning workbook as a companion to his presentation. George's mission is to provide information and inspiration to corporations and professional organizations by demonstrating, in an entertaining format, how humor can benefit their businesses and lives. For over forty years, George's mother and father, Tulara Lee and George Gilbert, Sr., were considered one of the funniest comedy/variety acts of their time. They appeared with Jack Benny, Bob Hope, and Jimmy Durante. They toured with Frank Sinatra, Xavior Cugat and Rowan & Martin's Laugh In, among others.
