Overview

At night he became the Pink Carnation's leading drag queen, Vera Copsicle. 1: When a TV talent scout dies in the club, Clive/Vera have to investigate, and what they uncover is a web of philatelic fraud, paper handling and a cheap English breakfast. 2: The Swedish punk rock opera singer comes to perform at the Benidorm Palace; her diamond is stolen. Fun in the sun ensues, and again Clive/Vera uncover an international plot to steal from the rich and give to the nuns. 3: While out hunting for new premises for the tea rooms, Clive discovers a skeleton wrapped in a carpet. But who is it? He now has to solve not one but two cases as the body reveals a further crime. And still no one has investigated the cost of a full fried English breakfast.
