He has written extensively on ethnic and race relations. PATRICK ROACH is Associate Fellow, Centre for Research in Ethnic Relations at the University of Warwick. He has over 12 years' experience in the race relations and equal opportunities policy arena. He is currently working for the NASUWT in a senior national role to formulate education and equal opportunities policy and advise Government on key issues relating to the future of the British education system. RANJIT SONDHI is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Community and Youth Studies at Westhill College where he is coordinating a new degree in race and ethnic studies. He is presently serving on the Home Secretary's Race Relations Forum and has just been appointed a Governor of the BBC with special responsibility for English regions.
