On January 19, 1979, as a 17-year-old young man growing up in the Highland Hills community of South Dallas, Dr. Green stood to preach his first sermon at Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church-Dallas, where Dr. Miller E. Johnson, Sr., was Senior Pastor. That day marked the beginning of a lifelong journey-a journey shaped by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and one that has taken him far beyond anything he could have imagined.
