From Here to There: An indescribable point in life

Overview

Aria Jackson's first collection of poems, From Here to There: An indescribable point in life, explores a transitional period of self-discovery amid the societal challenges of a chaotic world. Following her move to New Orleans in 2019, she candidly addresses personal themes of love, joy and pain while navigating her identity in the wake of the pandemic and during the Black Lives Matter movement. Aria's passion for acting shines in her writing, where character-driven poems amplify the voices of underrepresented communities and capture emotion filled observations.
