He purchased our freedom and redemption and victory and inheritance with His own blood, and His own life. He gave His best; we can do no less. The Church is God's only plan for the earth; there is no Plan B. We have everything we need to get the job done, so it's time to stop making excuses and feeling sorry for ourselves. As warriors and championship-winning teams know, the best defense is a good offense. It's time the Church plays offense again.

Dr. James Brewton is Founder and Senior Pastor of Community Empowerment Ministries, Inc., Estill, S. C. and is a founding father of the Allendale County Transformers (ACT). Dr. Brewton has been a minister of the Gospel of the Kingdom for over 24 years, and has served as Chaplain for the Allendale County (S.C.) Sheriff's Department and advisory member of the Sheriff's Task Force on Gang Violence. Dr. Brewton is a commissioned apostle, ordained bishop, and an apostolic advisor to several leaders, organizations and corporations locally, nationally and internationally. He received a bachelors degree in History and a masters degree in Public Management from Florida AAndM University. The Doctor of Divinity degree was conferred upon him in 2013 by Hope Bible Institute and Seminary, South Bend, Ind. He and his wife, Margie, reside in Allendale, S. C.
