Hadley Hunter is living a great life with her fiancé and friends on a magical tropical island with all the crab legs and frozen margaritas in the world. Their only worry is a foul-mouthed parrot who seems to be stalking them. Then the unthinkable happens. Her grandfather disappears from his ranch, and the only clue is a symbol burned into one of the fields. While searching for him, Hadley is accidentally transported to a different plane ... and her life is cast into upheaval.
