OverviewFrom Face to Face: Portraits by David Moore celebrates a half-century of portrait photography. It presents many of the outstanding figures of the twentieth century in diverse areas of achievement as well as anonymous faces that speak directly to us in these photographs. Publication coincided with an exhibition at the Australian National Portrait Gallery in Canberra. Drawn from an archive of at least 200,000 pictures, this body of work has been chosen to commemorate Moores recording of many of the significant figures in the last half of the last century.
