He moved for postdoctoral position to University of Utah (U.S.A). At present he is Professor of Chemistry at the University of Zagreb. His interest is focused on the organic reaction mechanisms, reactive intermediates, cryochemistry, solid-state chemistry and philosophy of chemistry.
