From Capes to Aprons is a collection of short stories from the dispatchers who actually took these sometimes bizarre, funny and very disturbing 911 calls. Because of the high stress of this job, dispatchers and emergency service personnel can turn to food for comfort, along with having each other to talk out our stressful calls. My book includes stories and recipes from real 911 dispatchers with some bonus stories of a retired police officer and retired firefighter.
