By the time he was sixteen, James Neville-Taylor had survived emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. He bounced between foster homes, lost his closest relatives as a teen, and was subject to intense cruelty from his peers and adults in his community. When drugs and alcohol stopped numbing the pain, he tried to end it all.Today, he's glad he failed. Within the year after his attempted suicide, James became a successful entrepreneur and mental health advocate. Now he shares his journey to empower other survivors to shake the shame, speak up, and seek help.
