Overview

Once in country, with the dogged Taliban on their tails the mission becomes a roller coaster plagued with deadly fights and deception. Complications force the mission to be expanded to rescue young girls, victims of human trafficking in nearby Iran. Iran on the brink of war with the US in the Persian Gulf. The new expanded mission makes Afghanistan seem like a cakewalk.

Author Information

Ivan Furyk enlisted in the Australian army at 17 years of age. Two weeks before his 18th birthday he found himself standing guard on the docks of Vung Tau in South Vietnam, guarding ammunition and provisions being offloaded from the HMAS Sydney. After leaving the army he spent the next thirty-two years in the jewellery industry. Most of which were in his own importing and retailing business. This novel is his second, a third due out soon.
