OverviewWhen Ellen Zanderfrog finds an old trumpet, she just know it's a sign. ""I'm going to Memphis to be in a blues band!"" She travels down the river and meets other musical characters along the way. Bighearted E.Z. gives away her trumpet, and is given some tuna can bongos in return. Her poetry is included in Michael Bugeja's The Art and Craft of Poetry and in small press magazines. She writes a weekly essay for Oklahoma Observer and is a frequent reader in Oklahoma's spoken poetry scene. A book of poetry, Not a Prodigal, (Village Books Press) will be published in 2017. Froggy Bottom Blues is her first picture book. Timothy Lange graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art in 1982. After working in advertising and corporate identity design, Tim started a graphic design and illustration studio in 1996. Currently, he is the owner of ThinAirCreative, Inc. Tim and his family moved to Oklahoma in 2003 where he joined the Oklahoma chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) in 2008. Tim has illustrated three easy reader books and one chapter book for Shortland Publishing, an imprint of McGraw-Hill. He has also illustrated three books for self-published authors.
