Author Anne Bristow Doak is the grandmother of four. She volunteers as a therapeutic clown to work with children and seniors. Children motivate me. Their love of animals is so pure and beautiful that I felt I could create a unique story that empowers children. A retired teacher, she lives in Ottawa, Canada, with her husband, Robert. The author is working on two more children's books. Illustrator Krystel Lucas is a beginning artist who plans to attend a visual arts college to pursue her creative dream.
