OverviewAn accident at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in the Columbia Gorge sets in motion a series of events and reveals secrets about big business, the power and mysteries of music, Hitler, perfume, and the natural world. Left behind in the evacuation of their small town, a small group of skeptics, misfits, and patients from the local hospital come together to explore the causes, effects, and people behind the long-buried secrets. In the nearly deserted town, the miraculously recovered members of mega-band Wooly Mammoth awaken from near comas. They come together with a ragtag group of residents including a retired investigative journalist, a wise-cracking Native American, and a traveling conman preacher/daughter team. Together, they launch a movement centered in an abandoned church that becomes the Atonement Café.
