Stephanie Calmenson is the dog-loving author of over 100 books for children, which have been called “marvelous” (Publishers Weekly), “lyrical” and “hilarious” (School Library Journal), and “sweet, funny, and right on the mark” (Booklist). Before turning to writing, Stephanie was an early childhood teacher, a children’s book editor, and Editorial Director of the Parents Magazine Press Read-Aloud Book Club. She earned her BFA from Brigham Young University - Idaho. She has been working full-time in educational software since 2011.
