Die Herausgeber: Sabine Doff ist Professorin für Sprachlehrforschung und Didaktik am Institut für England- und Amerikastudien der Universität Frankfurt am Main. Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Methodik, interkulturelles Lernen, Historiographie des Fremdsprachenunterrichts in Deutschland und Disziplinentheorie der Fremdsprachendidaktik. Torben Schmidt promovierte 2007 an der Universität Frankfurt am Main. Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Computergestütztes Fremdsprachenlernen, Didaktik des frühen Fremdsprachenlernens.
