This book is a key document in the exploration of today s religion and a call for rational discourse. In the 21st century we still live in a world where many people with a tribal mentality consider themselves better than other human beings because of their race class, nationality, religion or culture. Human beings are killing other human beings in the name of God, religion, and ideologies. Human beings are still violent beings and justify their aggression by reason, revenge and religion. The author is of the opinion that in the history of our evolution, human beings have reached a stage of adolescence and after creating atomic bombs, for the time in human history, are able to kill the whole human species and commit collective suicide or homicide. Would we as human beings grow to the next stage of evolution or kill ourselves? This a painful question, of course, and even today four out of five people throughout the world believe in God, either due to denial, superstition or thoughtless tradition. Some believers are willing to sacrifice their lives or kill other human beings in the name of their God. Humanity is at a crossroads. On the one hand there is a minority of power hungry religious fanatics who are declaring holy wars, crusades and jihads and on the other hand there is a minority of peace loving humanists who want all humanity to become enlightened. They urge each human being and each human community to grow and evolve and live peaceful lives. The future of humanity depends upon which minority wins the hearts and minds of the majority in each community. It has been said that, 'Most of us die before we are fully born.' As human beings, we have a long way to grow individually and collectively to become fully human.
