Steve Metzger is the bestselling author of more than 80 children's books, including The Way I Act, Detective Blue, and Pluto Visits Earth! His latest book, Yes, I Can Listen!, received a 2019 Eureka! Honor Award from the California Reading Association. Steve lives in New York City with his wife and daughter. Brian Schatell has illustrated sixteen books for children, some of which he has also written. For many years, Brian has chaired the Rutgers University Council on Children's Literature's annual One-on-One Plus Conference. He has also taught children's book illustration and writing at Parsons School of Design. Brian lives in New York City.
