The Four Operations Workbook has been provided, to further develop knowledge and skills of the formal written methodsof addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The layout of the calculations are to complement the concept of regrouping (exchanging) in relation to some standard compact methods and decomposition.Prior learning is required to enable success to be achieved whilst using this workbook, in the areas of Counting, Place Value, Times Tables, Repeated Addition and Repeated Subtraction.The Times Tables Quiz Workbook has been provided, to further develop multiplication and division knowledge and skills.The layout of the times table quizzes are to complement the order of how they could be learned, in relation to the new national curriculum.Prior learning is required to enable success to be achieved whilst using this workbook, in the areas of Counting, Place Value, Repeated Addition and Repeated Subtraction. In each Quiz there are 4 Rounds. The number sentences along with the answers (product) in Round 1, are your known facts. Use these known facts to derive associated facts, your answers in Rounds 2, 3 and 4. Reciting each times tables by rote on a daily basis will enable links with grouping and division.
