OverviewAre you ready to travel back in time to read classic literature? This faith-based course starts with the Creation, exploring the Greek, Roman, Hebrew, and Christian foundations of Western Literature. .Let's discover the authors and writings that laid down the foundation for the Western Literature we enjoy today. We'll have a blast reading, writing, and discussing the classic literature that has stood the test of time from Creation to the Middle Ages, as well as investigating fairy tales. The foundations of Western Literature include Hebrew, Greek, Roman, and early European works. Starting with the Book of Genesis from the HOLY BIBLE and the Epic of Gilgamesh, we will time travel through history by reading well-loved classics from Homer, Aesop, St. Augustine, Virgil, and the Brothers Grimm. Use this course in a book club, family, or co-op setting.
