He has successively undertaken a number of national projects such as the National 973 Project, the National Key Research and Development Program, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China and won 1 second prize of national teaching achievement, 2 first prizes of provincial and ministerial teaching achievements, 4 first prizes of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 15 school-level scientific and technological progress awards. He has published 3 textbooks and monographs, published more than 200 papers, 100 of which have been published in international journals, and served as the editorial board of many journals such as Journal of Applied Basic and Engineering Science and Petroleum Drilling Technology.
